It was an absolutely gorgeous day today. How was yours?
Went for a drive and stopped at my favorite local park for a walk whilst I finished my hot cider. Everytime I go here I run into prodigious amounts of wild life, but never have a camera with me. Today I was prepared, but no wild life. Took a few photos regardless.
Then later I got home and saw this post. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and proceeded to laugh uncontrollably for next 15 minutes. So a good day overall.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Last time I was here there was a fox waiting for me in this field.

Yes indeed, 1982 240d. I've had it about a year and half now, and I love it.

Neat! I drove a 1981 240D for about 5 years. I still miss it!
Have you heard the jokespression, "W123s are built so rock-solid, they'll last forever ... which is a good thing since it takes that long to get anywhere."

Haha, yes I have. There was a forum discussion I read awhile ago where the OP was asking whether to get a manual or AT 240d. I can't find the discussion, but one of the replies was something like this."The manual will provide you with better mileage, more control of the rev range and slightly more power. With that said there is nothing slower on this earth than a 240d."
What happened to yours? Sorry if a sore subject.
